Effective doctor-patient communication is crucial in building trust and good relationship. This is very important in ensuring high quality of cancer care.
Let's Sama-Sama in Taman Merdeka Johor Bahru last Saturday, observed doctors and patients walked and laughed together. This was the first time for Southern Malaysia patients to walk together at the park, specially arranged by Dr Lim, Dr Toh and their team of nurses.
More importantly, doctors and patients had the opportunity to learn from each other. Let's Sama-Sama provides a conducive environment for patients to ask questions or voice out their concern directly to the doctors. Not only that, it also enables the doctors to learn more about their patients. We hope Let's Sama-Sama could continue to serve as a platform to facilitate good doctor-patient relationship.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Lim Soo Min, Dr Toh See Guan and Dr Tan Sen Mui and all the volunteers from patients and general public proudly knows as Max Crew!
